Ecclesiology and Eschatology #8 – The Marks of a False Church and Government of the Church

This week we cover two topics: The 4 marks of a false church and the various ways that a church can be organized. We have to be careful not to judge a church based on how they differ from us on the non-essential doctrines. We also have to make sure we don’t diminish the core essential doctrines that must exist for a person or a church to be Christian. But even if a “church” agrees with the essential doctrines it may not truly be a church if it loses balance in its purpose and practices. We also will look at various ways to organize the church and look at the positives and negatives of each.
