Ecclesiology and Eschatology #5 – The Ministries of the Church, Part 1

Now that we have defined what the church is and have an idea of the purpose of the church, we have to ask how we are to accomplish our purpose. When we talk about this we usually talk about the ministries of the church. Ministries are avenues through which the local church seeks to fulfill is purpose. We will spend some time thinking of what the essential ministries that must be present in order for the church to be a church. Then we talk about how to implement these ministries in our local context.
