Mormons & JW – #9 Watchtower Practices and Prohibitions

This week we looked at some of the practices and prohibitions that The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society say all Jehovah’s Witnesses need to follow. These are used by the followers to prove they are the ture Christians and the Watchtower Society is God’s ture organization on the earth. That is because they alone do the things God required and avoid all the pagan practices that Christiandom do perform. We looked at these claims and showed that their claims are invalid because in reality they are following men’s laws and not biblical mandates.

For Further Study:
Here is a great resource for understanding and answering major areas that a Jehovah’s Witness will bring up. The first link is an online book that has a Christian Householder and a Jehovah’s Witnesses Discuss the 1996 Watchtower Publication, What Does God Require of Us? This is a great read. The second link is to the publication itself from the Watchtower website so you can see what they are talking about.
