Story of the First Church #6 – Acts 15-16:15

We see in this lecture the difficulty many had to accept the cultural and historical differences between Jews and Gentitles. The first Christians, being Jewish, had many who could not easily let go of their upbringing to accept the new Gentile Chirstians. But with the help of Peter, James, Paul and Barnabas the early church made up its mind to accept one another. We also talked about the start of Paul’s second missionary journey and how the conflict between Paul and Barnabas lead to a wider ministry.
