Revelation #3 – Historicist and Preterist Views

In this class we talked about two of the four views for interpreting Revelation: Historicist and Preterist. We actually started talking about a third view, the Fururist view. But I got a bit off track from the notes so we will start back up with it next week and also cover the Idealist view. The homework is to read the section in the book on the four views in the introduction section if you have not done so already. You can also read pages 51-61 which talks about the first chapter of revelation. Observe the description of Jesus and do some research on what the various things are that he has or is a part of him.

Below are links to the class handout and audio of the third lecture. The class outline has what we covered tonight and also the two views we will cover next week.
